Using effective animations, Steven Wittens presents the foundation behind WebGL such as rasterisation, aliasing, pixel sampling and their relation to Linear Algebra. For instance, a transformation of a 2D space using a $Z$ vector can be used to apply a translation and scale in a 3D space.
